School of Information Technology Program

The School of Information Technology aims to give students a better understanding of the information literacy fundamentals and tools needed for them to be self-reliant and prepared in the evolving information and knowledge-based society. The school is currently providing students with analytical, interpersonal and technical skills that are essential to solve real-life problems. In here, students will have an exciting time developing awesome computer programs such as: Games, Mobile and Desktop Applications and as well as gain extensive knowledge in networks through IT education.


School of Information Technology Program Goal

To prepare students to be IT professionals who are well-versed on application installation, operation, development, maintenance and administration, and familiar with hardware installation, operation, and maintenance.


School of Information Technology Program Objectives

  • To establish intensive training to application development, database administration, IT entrepreneurship, information security administration, information technology instructor and network engineer.

  • To ensure proficient in hardware servicing, network administrator, systems planning and development, and system analysis and design.

  • Meet the demand of the society for system analyst, technical support specialist, test engineer, web administrator/web master, and web developer.

  • To contribute research output that benefits the information technology industry in the province of Misamis Occidental that is not only nationally accredited but also globally competitive.
